You Are More Than Enough: Overcoming Imposter Syndrome

Attending a highly selective institution is an amazing accomplishment for many first-generation and/or lower income students, however many experience conflicting feelings while navigating through the complexity of their institution. These feelings and emotions can sometimes translate to students developing imposter syndrome, not feeling accepted or deserving a place in the academic arena. This program is designed to educate students on imposter syndrome and ways in which they can establish healthy practices to overcome academic fears. Thought for Food: The Development and Trajectory of Modern AgriBusiness

Most of us think of agriculture as a static and unchanging industry--that "farming is farming". The truth is, however, that issues of population growth, environmental sustainability, labor ethics, nutrition, and rural development have all challenged the long-lasting traditions of agriculture. Our modern agricultural problems require versatile and multifaceted approaches. This preceptorial hosted by Wharton AgriBusiness Club explores the integration of technology, financial institutions, and scientific research into the ever-changing industry. Save the Sea Lion: Community Science in the Galápagos Archipelago

Every day, hundreds of Galápagos Sea Lions emerge from the ocean onto the beaches of San Cristóbal Island in the Galápagos Archipelago. Unfortunately, they have chosen a municipal beach to rest. Conflict between humans and sea lions isn’t limited to the nighttime. In the day, sea lions compete for space on the beaches with sunbathers, children, tourists, and dogs. This disconnect hampers efforts to protect biodiversity and fight climate change. How can we fix it? Learn about Penn’s efforts in this preceptorial. We are composed of 25 all-male and 2 co-ed fraternities, each with its own ideals and culture.
